Here’s what you need to know BEFORE you start your project!
Before you have any individual (including faculty, staff, post docs, graduate assistants, student workers, or consultants) perform services in foreign countries in support of Iowa State University activities, including research, please contact the Global Workforce Team at globalworkforce@iastate.edu.
The Global Workforce Team consists of representatives from the Office of Senior Vice President and Provost, University Human Resources, Procurement Services, Finance Service Delivery, and the Office of General Counsel and can help you get started down the correct path! Utilizing the correct path for the host country will help you to avoid complications and unanticipated expenses once you’ve begun the project!
