Electronic Travel Authorization required for travel to the UK
Starting January 8th, 2025, all US citizens traveling to the United Kingdom must complete an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). Applying for the ETA is simple, costs less than $15 USD, and is good for multiple entries within a 2-year timeframe. Please be aware that using a third-party provider like CIBT will incur additional processing fees on top of the ETA fee itself.
The travel and hospitality (T&H) card may be used to pay ETA fees with an allowable university business purpose.
